1. What services are included in the Membership?

The monthly Membership provides access to a variety of financial tools and services, including:

2. How will this Membership help me manage my business finances better?

This Membership focuses on accountability and knowledge, helping you, as a CEO or business owner, make confident financial decisions.

Think of it like going to a group fitness class—our monthly accountability calls guide you on what to review in your financial statements each month. You don’t have to share anything to benefit from the calls!

Additionally, the financial templates, community Slack channel, workshops, and email support offer resources to help you run your business more effectively.

3. Can I get personalized financial advice through this Membership?

Yes, while the Membership includes general guidance, you have the option to add any specific services for more tailored financial advice. This way, you only pay for what you need when you need it.

4. What kind of financial templates will I have access to?

You’ll receive access to templates that help with budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and other essential areas. These templates are designed to streamline your financial tasks and support informed decision-making.

5. Does this Membership include bookkeeping or tax advice?

No, we do not provide bookkeeping or tax advice. However, we can help you find the right accounting team, and we strongly recommend having a reliable bookkeeper who is not you! We can also assess the quality of your bookkeeping and introduce you to our trusted bookkeeping partners.

6. Will this help me manage my bookkeeper?

Yes! This Membership provides you with the tools and knowledge to oversee your bookkeeper’s work more effectively. Often the simple act of reviewing your financials monthly (i.e. our accountability calls) will highlight areas for improvement in your bookkeeping. 

7. How do I get started with the Membership service?

Getting started is easy. Click the "Join Now" button on our website to sign up. After joining, you’ll receive a welcome packet with next steps and instructions on booking a kick-off call. During the call, we’ll assess your business needs and provide initial guidance. You’ll then have full access to all the tools, resources, and support in your Membership.

8. How long do I need this Membership?

The length of time depends on your financial goals and business complexity. Some members benefit from ongoing support, while others find value in participating for a shorter period to boost their financial literacy. You can continue the Membership for as long as it supports your business goals.

9. Will I have to share all my financial details on group calls to get value from the Membership?

No, you won’t be required to share anything you’re uncomfortable with during group calls or in the Slack channel. Any shared information in the group setting is confidential.

However, when using email or on-demand CFO support, you may need to share some financial details to receive the help you need.

10. What if I need more support?

We’re a full-service fractional CFO firm. When you're ready, you can book a consultation call, and we'll guide you through the next level of CFO support, including high-level financial strategies, KPI development, and business scaling advice.

11. Who do you work with?

To be a member, you must own a business. The great thing about this membership is that you can be any any revenue size to get the support you need. 

Our CFO’s have a background in the following industries: SAAS, Tech, Retail, Event production, construction & trades, premium food & beverage, and  professional services

You don’t need to have a business in any of these industries to gain from our support and we will direct you to other CFO support if we can’t help you reach your goals.

12. Do I need a CFO?

Finance Fight Club was build because our FOunder beleives that a CFO is a ncessisity not a luxury. All businesses can gain from the support of CFO advice 

If your business meets any of the following criteria,  you might be ready for the support of a CFO

  • You need strategic guidance for long-term financial planning.

  • You’re asking your bookkeeper & CPA questions they can’t answer

  • You don’t have a budget and you don’t know how to build one

  • Your business earns $1M–$15M+ annually.

  • You’ve been in business for at least 3 years or have run any business for 5+ years.

  • You’re scaling or in the process of scaling.

  • You’re considering selling your business within 2–10 years.

13. How often do I need to talk to a CFO?

The frequency of CFO support depends on your business size and complexity. Here are a few examples:

  • Businesses under $1M with simpler models may meet with a CFO 1–4 times per year.

  • High-growth businesses generating over $1M in revenue or with raised funding should plan for ongoing CFO support, including monthly meetings and quarterly forecasting.

  • Businesses preparing to sell in the next 2 years should consider at least monthly call with a skilled CFO

14. Do you provide bookkeeping or tax services?

No, we are not bookkeepers or CPAs. However we have strong partnerships with the good ones and will introduce the right support for you. 

We recommend using QuickBooks or Xero for bookkeeping and having a strong outsourced bookkeeper that is not you providing monthly bookkeeping support.

15. Do I have to be a member to get services?

Yes! We do not provide any of our services to non-members. If you are looking for one-time service, please head to our sister brand www.copper8strategies.com where we work on one-off larger projects for businesses with over $2M in annual revenue. 

16. How do I cancel my Membership?

To cancel, log into your account, navigate to the subscription section, and click "Cancel." If you encounter any issues, email us at Admin@copper8strategies.com.
